Sunday Coffee – Miss Frank Cafe Camberwell

A colleague of mine told me about a cafe close to my home recently. Being school holidays and having to enjoy our coffee with the kids, we decided to forgo any adventurous trips to the other side of town and stick to our local woods, so we decided to give it a try. I’m sure glad we did, because we had the pleasure of visiting Miss Frank Cafe Camberwell which is sure to become a regular haunt of ours!

The decor here is industrial with a real edgy feel. It’s homely with plenty of room and some really interesting features such as the steel beams used as stools (surprisingly comfortable if a little chilly). On a Sunday morning, the cafe was busy without being overly noisy and it had a relaxed vibe going. Now to the real test….. the coffee? Perfect! Strong enough to taste the coffee without blowing the taste buds off. Lovely.

The cafe also has a providore section where you can pick up breads, ready meals, jams and baked goods.

All in all, a pleasant place with a great feel. A real favourite.
